The basics

What is Ytno?

Guest management and access control for events where the list matters. You build your guest list, send each guest a personal invitation, they reply and get a QR pass, and your team scans them in at the door. One list for everyone, instead of spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads.

Who is it for?

Weddings and owambes, summits and corporate events, church programmes and conventions, and private or members' events. Anywhere it matters who gets in.

Do my guests need to download an app?

No. Invitations, replies and passes all open in the browser. Guests show their pass from their email or their phone. Your door team doesn't install anything either: the door app opens from a link.

Invitations and replies

How do guests get their invitation?

By email, sent from Ytno with your wording, or through a personal link you share yourself, for example on WhatsApp. You can schedule when the emails go out and see whose email failed.

Can I stop people sharing invitation links?

Yes. Lock your links and a link only opens for the person it was sent to: they confirm the email or phone number you invited them with. Someone it was forwarded to gets no further.

Can I use my own guest list?

Yes. Upload a spreadsheet and match its columns in a few clicks, add people one by one, or let guests claim their name on your list with a code sent to their email.

Can I open registration to the public?

Yes, if you want to. An event can be invite-only, or open with a public page where anyone can register or buy a ticket. You choose for each event.

At the door

What happens if there's no network at the venue?

The door app saves your guest list on the phone before the event and keeps scanning offline. Scans are kept on the phone and sent as soon as the connection is back.

Can a pass be used twice?

No. Each pass gets in once. Several gates share one list, so a pass used at one gate is turned away at the others once their phones have synced.

Who can work the door?

Anyone you give a Door ID to. A Door ID works for one event only and stops working when you turn it off. Team members with their own login can work the door too.

Tickets and pricing

How do I get paid for tickets?

Guests pay through Paystack by card or bank transfer, and the money goes to the bank account you add. Ytno takes 7% of each sale, and you choose whether you or your guests cover it.

How much does Ytno cost?

Free for events up to 50 guests. Bigger events pay once per event, by guest count, or you can subscribe if you run events often. See pricing for current prices.

Ready when you are.
